Open Studios North East Fife
Open Studios is an annual event which involved local artists opening their homes and work spaces and inviting visitors in to see their work and learn about their processes.
Given the year 2020 has been, however, it was postponed and is now a virtual event for most participants! I am luckier than most as my photographs and art will be on display and available to purchase at Mirrey Fine Art, 19-21 St Catherine Street in Cupar. They are open between 10 and 5 over the three days of the event.
I have selected a range of photographs, mainly of Fife, for the exhibition which can be previewed here and purchased from my Etsy shop.
I am also pleased to be able to launch my new project Art from the Gin Den which has come out of a lot of lockdown experimentation with acrylic paints and ink.
Like my photography, I have stuck mainly to nature based themes making prints using botanicals sourced in local woodlands. These items are for sale in Mirrey Fine Art over the weekend but prints of the artwork can be bought online at Art from the Gin Den. A preview of my work can be seen here:
